We have some news to share; going forward we will be open on Saturdays and during school holidays. We would like to thank our customers and everyone who has supported us over the past 18 years. We have decided it is time for pastures new and will be looking for a buyer for Windband over the coming months. We will miss working together and chatting to you all but we are both excited about the future. Shelley and Bethan

Windband started as a repair business in 1987 and has since grown to become one of a handful of successful wind and brass instrument specialist shops in the UK.
Shelley Oliver and Bethan Wilks have been friends for more than 30 years and are the current owners of Windband.
In 1987 Shelley purchased her first clarinet and became Windband’s first customer. Shortly afterwards she joined the company as a Saturday girl before becoming full time in 1994. When Shelley left in 1998, Bethan succeeded her as general manager. In 2002, with a lot of help from the retiring owners, the bank and support from friends and family, they bought the company together.
Bethan and Shelley are both woodwind players and have played with numerous local bands, orchestras and for local theatre companies. Shelley has two daughters and Bethan has a son.
